Today’s review of the day is from FiLife member bob – “This was a great experience. I was amazed at how smoothly the process went, from the initial application taken over the phone, to the closing at our own kitchen table. Everyone we dealt from Quicken Loans was courteous and helpful.

One thing that was especially refreshing was Quicken’s willingness to accommodate a personal preference of ours — we acknowledge statements and signatures by simple affirmation, instead of by swearing an oath. Quicken requested a written explanation for this to include in the file, which we gladly furnished, and several modifications to and initialings of the documents were required at closing. (Another closing many years ago fell through due to that lender’s rigid refusal to accommodate that stand, so I was a little surprised when it went through this time without a hitch.) Thanks, Joe Benson and all the Quicken Loans team!”

Today’s review of the day is from Epinions member thegunman – “I decided to refinance my property for the purpose of eliminating my credit card debt. Credit cards have a much higher interest rate than the typical home motgage, and the credit card interest is not tax deductible. It also seems that credit card debt is used in determining your overall credit score, but home loans are not a part of that calculation. The more open credit card accounts that one has, the lower the credit score. I did not know anything about Quicken Loans before I chose them, but after a careful consideration (I received numerous on-line quotes from other loan companies) I chose Quicken Loans because of their lower interset rate. The loan process went very smoothly and Andrew Robinson, my loan specialist, was excellent in handling and processing this loan. He is very professional and courteous. If any information was needed that I did not supply with the original request, Quicken Loans has a website that can be used to upload the needed information to them. This was very helpful and enhanced our communication. Quicken Loans arranged for the house appraisal and the appraisal was completed promptly. I also received a copy of the appraisal report for my records. I am satisfied with my decision in selecting Quicken Loans for my refinancing needs and would recommend them to whoever reads this epinion, thanks!”

Today’s review of the day is from Epinions member mstandmrd – “We used Quicken loans to refinance our home at a lower interest rate. We talked to Chris Haneline for most of the refinancing procedures. He notified us through a phone call and through email. We had refinanced with Quicken Loans before so we knew most of what to expect. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions quickly. He updated us regularly on the progress of our loan and got back with us right away if we had questions or concerns. He was up front with us when the out of pocket amount changed to a higher amount due to paying off the old loan on a later date then was first discussed. We had refinanced our home before and used Quicken Loans and that is the main reason why we chose them again because of the satisfaction that we had the first time. We were also pleased that we could close at our own house instead of going to some office or bank and we were able to do it on a Saturday.”

Today’s review of the day is from T.M. in Pennsylvania – ” I was involved in a divorce and tried to refinance through my then current lender. Because of being self employed, the process was less than favorable. Everyone at Quicken Loans was extremely helpful and responsive to my needs and worked tirelessly to ensure the closing on my loan. In today’s volatile market, it was nice to see that there was a lender concerned with their clients. My “former” lender had received BILLIONS in taxpayer bailout money, but was extremely rude and unhelpful. Considering I only refinanced 65% of my home value, I am appaled at their unwillingness to assist. However, Quicken Loans, and in particular, Kyle Glenn, my broker, took charge and made the experience as painless and pleasurable as possible. Thanks to them, my home is now secured for my children’s future. Kudos to all involved. I would recommend Quicken Loans and Kyle to anyone without hesitation.”
