Quizzle gives ongoing financial insight and a free credit report

At Quicken Loans, we’re always looking for new ways to give our clients real value from our online tools. On the Quicken Loans website, we have great calculators that help clients evaluate their loan options, and we also publish timely and informative mortgage news, available via rss feed. We provide rate alerts and a free email subscription that keeps our clients and mortgage shoppers abreast of mortgage news developments and our product offerings. But perhaps the most useful website to clients is Quizzle.

With Quizzle, visitors can get an honest evaluation of their current financial “health,” and can continue to monitor and improve thier situation. We designed Quizzle to give users personalized, lasting value. It’s sort of like having your very own financial advisor. Only it’s free!

Seriously, I LOVE Quizzle, and I tell all my friends about it. Anyone who is interested in the state of and/or improvement of their finances should be using this tool!

So obviously we want to tell the world about Quizzle. Already we’ve had great success in spreading the word simply by word-of-mouth. Consumer advocate Clark Howard has recommended us in his nationally televised financial news program, and  the Wall Street Journal got wind of Quizzle’s fabulousness and gave us some love.

But still, we feel there are so many people who can be benefiting from Quizzle. Especially in these tough economic times that call for an honest look at one’s finances. Knowing that so many people go to Youtube to find information, we thought we should get the word out via an informative video.

We’re really excited that Quizzle is now in movies! Our hope is that more people learn about how useful Quizzle can be to their financial goals. Quicken Loans CEO Bill Emerson landed a great interview on the Fox Business Channel, and we saw the 1st official Quizzle mention in a TV interview!  Bill set it up perfectly by talking about the importance of credit and home value and then mentioned Quizzle as “one site that comes to mind” to help people understand their situation.  It was a great fit.   You can check out the full video, courtesty of FOX News, above.

What a fun first year.  Here’s a few Quizzle numbers for you in year one:

0 dollars spent to-date in advertising 
1 year of life-experience in the books
132 thousand new people living in Quizzle-land
150 people have improved their mortgage or bought a home through Quizzle
550 thousand new people have checked-out the site

 Those are the numbers for year ONE!  Now it’s time to take off the training wheels and really take Quizzle for a spin!

 Year two will begin with the launch of our first Quizzle Quiz (in about a week) called “What’s your Green Score?”
