Today’s review of the day is from FiLife member Bill – “Quicken loans offers the best “turn key” product. A phone call and a few emails later and you have your loan. Yes, it is worth it to refinance, considering the reasonable fees, good interest rates and the ease of working with Quicken. This is my third or fourth loan with them over the years and they have always been the best.”

Today’s review of the day is from FiLife member bjpogi - “This was a great experience going with quicken loans. it was so easy to fill out everything online, and not having to work with a lot of stacks of paper. the coolest thing about the process was closing. they send you a package the day before closing, so that you can review it, and it makes the whole process in signing the next day so easy, and also the closing agent comes to your house or anywhere else that is convenient for you. so easy. i would go with Quicken again in a heartbeat!!!”

Today’s review of the day is from FiLife member Bill Haines - “I was very pleased with the whole process of refinancing my mortgage. Pat Connelly and Megan Griffin were very professional and knowledgeable throughout the process. It took less than 30 days from start to finish to refinance. They even come to your house to do the closing. I would recommend Quicken Loans to everyone!!

Today’s review of the day is from FiLife member bob – “This was a great experience. I was amazed at how smoothly the process went, from the initial application taken over the phone, to the closing at our own kitchen table. Everyone we dealt from Quicken Loans was courteous and helpful.

One thing that was especially refreshing was Quicken’s willingness to accommodate a personal preference of ours — we acknowledge statements and signatures by simple affirmation, instead of by swearing an oath. Quicken requested a written explanation for this to include in the file, which we gladly furnished, and several modifications to and initialings of the documents were required at closing. (Another closing many years ago fell through due to that lender’s rigid refusal to accommodate that stand, so I was a little surprised when it went through this time without a hitch.) Thanks, Joe Benson and all the Quicken Loans team!”

Today’s review of the day is from Viewpoints member Hopeisrewarding – “From day one in August of 2009 that I went to Quicken for a loan, their staff and Representatives bent over backwards to make it happen. What this team did to get us our house and the closing on time was remarkable. I commend Quicken Loans and their team.
Once again in 2010 through unseen circumstances it became necessary to refinance my loan. Not knowing what step to take, It just so happened that I received a courtesy call from my Representative “Gerard Lemionet” about my first loan inquiring how everything was going. The timing could not have been better. I explained the situation to him and he immediately got the ball rolling. He worked very close with me and his help was very gratifing. There was no question to small or unimportant that he wasn’t willing to help. He is a people person. He cares and puts all his efforts forward for the customer. He is truly an asset to his company. I know now that my refinancing will go on smoothly. My peace of mind on this loan transaction has been a very valuable experience and I will highly recommend Quicken Loans and Gerard every chance I get.”

Today’s review of the day is from Viewpoints member upst8sc41 – “We were looking to refinance to a lower rate and wanted to do a 15 yr fixed term. Our loan representatives at Quicken made the process very easy. What we liked the most was being able to scan in all the documents they needed and upload them to their secure site. Also being able to sign things electronically during the application process just saved time. And we were updated every step of the way. Once we were ready to close, they set it up and had the closing agent come to our house on our schedule to sign the closing documents. It was a great, streamlined process and I highly recommend them.”

Today’s review of the day is from Viewpoints member iris19 – “The Quicken Loan advisor that I worked with assisted with the refinancing of our home. I had spoken to another bank, and did not get the service I had experienced when the economy was more robust. The person who worked with us from Quicken Loan was knowledgable, strategic, provided alternatives and responded rapidly to requests. The determination if we qualified for the loan was fast and relatively painless. I have recommended this genteman to several friends and family members and would definitely use Quicken Loans if we ever needed to make a change in our mortgage.Talk about making the challenges facing us all in this economy into an opportunity to work smarter!”

Today’s review of the day is from Viewpoints member Hedge – “I have been through the entire process with Quicken Loans twice in the past two years, and am absolutely convinced this is by far the fastest and most efficient method of conducting a refinance.

Communication via e-mail and secure uploads and downloads for the transfer of documents was flawless. The level of professionalism demonstrated by Thomas Fain and his team was top notch, and I feel they worked really hard on my behalf to close a loan that I honestly didn’t believe would be a simple slam-dunk.

I now realize that it is possible to develop the kind of relationship and trust with a mortgage banker from halfway across the country just like someone you know and trust from halfway across town.”

Today’s review of the day is from Viewpoints member Godisgoodallthetime – “I had a 30 year fixed loan with a reputable company, at a decent rate. My goal was to pay my loan off as a 15 year loan. Every time I checked into refinancing, it would only help if I changed my goal to pay the loan over its entire life (regardless of whether it was 15 or 30 yr). Even my own lender was unable to make the “hassle” of refinancing worth the time and effort.

When I spoke with Jorge Mendez at Quicken, he listened to my goals, and worked to find a way for me to meet them, at a lower overall cost. He found a way for me to obtain a 15 yr loan at over a point less than my existing loan, and even paying it off in 8 years I’ll still save thousands.

I was told the entire process may take a month, but we were closed in less than three weeks. I wish I had made the call earlier!”
