Today’s review of the day is from Epinions member Penny_shore – “This past December my husband and I refinanced our home mortgage through Quicken Loans in order to take advantage of lower rates — while at the same time, reducing the term of our loan. The experience was entirely painless! What a wonderful way to refinance. Quicken Loans gave us the lowest rate available on our 20-year fixed loan (we know this because we checked with five other institutions), and the entire application and approval process was handled through email and express carrier. The only appointments that needed to be made were for an appraiser and a closing agent. Both of these individuals were arranged by Quicken Loans and worked within our time constraints. They each took less that one hour of our time to complete their work. And the closing agent came to our house. The agents with Quicken Loans were very thorough. As we progressed through the various phases of the application and approval process, each agent ensured that our transition to the next person was smooth and that there were no loose ends. The agents were in constant contact with us to let us know how the process was progressing and quickly returned emails and phone calls with thorough and complete answers to all our questions. I would highly recommend using Quicken Loans for any mortgage related work that you may need.”
