Recently Crain’s Detroit Business recognized Quicken Loans for our community efforts in 2009. Quicken Loans was able to reach just under $1 million for charities and those in need. Quicken Loans team members volunteered at numerous events throughout the year, including food preparation at soup kitchens, handing out and sorting food at Lighthouse of Oakland County, teaching students about the basics of finance and banking and distributing around 500 winter coats from a coat drive.
In addition to our volunteering efforts Quicken Loans also hosted internal fundraisers including cook-offs, valet parking, online auctions and more.
