Maybe I’m speaking too soon, but with the snow melting and daylight savings time this past weekend – and even a few days of warmer weather taunting us – it’s feeling like spring around the Quicken Loans offices. (Now I’ve surely jinxed us, as everyone knows March snow is very likely in Michigan.)
But even though the sun does not officially cross the vernal equinox until the 20th of March (this year at exactly 11:44 am that day – not that I am counting or anything), it really does feel as though we’ve turned a corner, with a visible lift in our winter-weary spirits.
Speaking of turning corners, Beth Bol, our lovely Alpha Team Project Manager, turned the corner of her cubicle wall to see this sign of spring: Todd Albery busily cleaning the common area by his desk.
I’m told this is similar to a groundhog sighting, though in this case a spotting of the rare Cleaning Albery means less than two weeks of winter left to go. Thanks for your great wildlife photography skills, Beth!
